I apologize that the old forums were taken down...and I was unable to move the old data to these new forums. There just wasn't any way to do it as there are different technologies involved.
The reason the old ones needed to be removed, was because of some ongoing legal actions between the software developers of the forums and the software developers of the overall portals. 
(2 different groups) Unfortunately people that used their products were caught in the middle. (us) So the old forums are gone...and we now have new ones to take their place. I hope people will use and enjoy the new ones as well!
